These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Behind the Pour mobile application ("the app"), operated by Michael Turner ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Behind the Pour is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your download and use of the app, and any in-app purchases, are also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). Where these Terms and Apple's EULA address the same subject, Apple's EULA applies to App Store distribution and purchases.
Behind the Pour is intended for users 17 years of age and older due to alcohol-related content. By using the app you confirm that you are at least 17 years old.
When you sign up you choose a role: Patron or Bartender. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for maintaining the security of your account. You may sign in using Apple or Google authentication.
If you create a bartender profile, you additionally agree to the in-app Bartender Agreement presented during bartender sign-up. In summary, you confirm that:
We reserve the right to request verification of employment and to suspend or remove profiles that violate these Terms or the Bartender Agreement.
Patrons agree to use the app respectfully and lawfully. Harassment, abuse, or misuse of bartender information is prohibited and may result in account suspension.
You retain ownership of the content you submit (photos, profile information, reviews, broadcasts). By submitting content you grant us a limited license to display and distribute that content within the app for the purpose of operating the service. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and must have the rights to share it.

The app offers optional in-app purchases, including one-time purchases and an auto-renewable subscription (Bartender Pro). Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's App Store account settings. Purchases are handled by Apple and subject to Apple's terms; we do not collect or store payment information.
Patrons may leave reviews and bartenders may send broadcasts. All such content must comply with these Terms. We reserve the right to remove content that is abusive, fraudulent, or otherwise violates these Terms.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of bartender profiles, schedules, venue information, or availability. Bartender locations are based on venue addresses entered by bartenders themselves. You use the app and any information in it at your own discretion.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including interactions with other users or reliance on information displayed in the app.
You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
